A trusted pediatrician, Dr. Morris is as compassionate as he is knowledgeable and displays an unwavering commitment in changing the lives of his patients for the better. He joined the Vienna Pediatrics office of Capital Area Pediatrics in 1998.
Capital Area Pediatrics offers accessible, comprehensive pediatric care to families throughout Northern Virginia. The five practice locations house resources and staff members equipped to work with family members of all ages, offering excellent, personal care for every child.
Earning his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1993, Dr. Morris went on to graduate with his medical degree from the NYU Grossman School of Medicine in 1994. He then completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Virginia Medical Center in 1995 and 1997, respectively.
Continuously advancing his efforts, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and a member of the Medical Society of Virginia. He is also affiliated with Inova Fairfax Hospital.
Honored to be recognized as one of Northern Virginia magazine’s Best Doctors in 2009, Dr. Morris is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
