Dr. Casimir graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of the Pacific in 1993 and went on to earn her Medical Degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2002. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Providence Hospital from 2002 to 2005, where she honed her skills in treating complex medical conditions.

Beginning her career as a hospitalist at Hudson Valley Hospital Center from 2005 to 2007, Dr. Casimir demonstrated her dedication to patient care early on. She then expanded her expertise in telemedicine with TelaDoc Telemedicine from 2007 to 2010, before transitioning to Internal Medicine/Primary Care with Optum, where she served from 2011 to 2022.
