Get to know Periodontist Dr. Natalia Besada, who serves patients in Winter Park, Florida.

Dr. Besada is a competent periodontist affiliated with Dentists of Winter Park in Florida. She has been pursuing her career in dentistry and specialty in periodontology for a large portion of her life. She loves what she does and believes in its importance.

“As my patient, you can expect a thorough exam and personalized treatment plan with the utmost care to meet your needs. It is my goal to make you content and confident with your oral health, hygiene, and aesthetics” expressed Dr. Besada.

Graduating cum laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Central Florida, she earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She then went on to complete her Specialty Certification in Periodontology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Continuously advancing her efforts, Dr. Besada is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Active in the community, she has served on mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Ecuador as a part of the UFCD Sealants Program, EACN Dental Clinic.

Periodontics is the dental specialty focusing exclusively on the inflammatory disease that destroys the gums and other supporting structures around the teeth. A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, and in the placement of dental implants.

Among her most notable achievements, Dr. Besada has been the recipient of the Quintessence Award, and DFNC Fellowship Award.

On a more personal note, she enjoys traveling, exercising, and dancing. Her favorite vacation spot is anywhere with sun, wind, and the ocean.
