Get to know Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Dr. Sujal P. Patel, who serves patients in Glen Rock, New Jersey. 

Specializing in orthopedic spine surgery, Dr. Patel is board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who joined Oasis Medical Group in 2018. He sees patients in Glen Rock, New Jersey as well as Oasis’ other New Jersey and New York offices.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 2006, Dr. Patel went on to obtain his medical degree from New York Medical College. From there, he served his residency in orthopedic surgery at the School of Health and Medical Sciences – Seton Hall University, where he was chief resident. In 2017, he completed his fellowship in spine surgery at Texas Back Institute. 

Dr. Patel is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons, as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.

Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, the Eastern Orthopedic Association, and the Orthopedic Trauma Association.
