Dr. Laser is a seasoned vascular surgeon practicing at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. She embraced her current role in 2018 and additionally acts as Assistant Professor of Vascular Surgery with Albany Medical College. 

Dr. Laser commenced her educational journey in 2001 at Wesleyan University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. She then acquired a Master of Public Health degree from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (2003). Dr. Laser completed her medical degree at The University of Maryland School of Medicine (2007), where she also performed her general surgery residency (2007-2014) and vascular surgery fellowship (2014-2016). 

Dr. Laser attained board certification in vascular surgery with the American Board of Surgery. The American Board of Surgery is an independent, nonprofit organization founded in 1937 to provide board certification to individuals who have met a defined standard of education, training and knowledge in the field of surgery.

Vascular surgery is a surgical subspecialty in which diseases of the vascular system, or arteries, veins and lymphatic circulation, are managed by medical therapy, minimally-invasive catheter procedures, and surgical reconstruction.

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Laser remains an active member of the Association of Women Surgeons, the Eastern Vascular Society and the American Venous Forum.
