The team at Dentistry With A Woman’s Touch is committed to solving patients’ dental concerns with gentle care so they feel at ease in the dental chair. Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Patel received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. 

Subsequently, she received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree in 2016 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While there, she was selected to participate in various clinical Dentistry Honors Programs in Aesthetics, Implant and Restorative dentistry as well as Community Health Honors Programs. She created a community service proposal to develop “exceptionalsmiles.org”, a website to assist caregivers in providing better oral hygiene to patients with special needs.

Thereafter, Dr. Patel completed a General Practice Residency Program at Stony Brook Dental School where she gained experience in hospital-based dentistry, cosmetic restorative treatment, surgical extractions, root canals, implant placement and denture fabrications. Since 2017, her extensive training coupled with her attention to detail and creativity has helped her provide world-class dental care in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

On a professional level, she is an active member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Spear Education, and the Pankey Institute. She is a certified Invisalign provider and is surgically trained in implant placement and periodontal treatment through minimally invasive technique for maximum patient satisfaction. In addition, she has received formal training in occlusion and full mouth rehabilitation through the Pankey Institute.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

In her free time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her husband and baby boy, traveling with family and friends, interior decorating, cooking and watching movies.
