 A graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Dr. Nayyar went on to complete his internship in internal medicine at the University at Buffalo, followed by his residency in radiology at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in New York. He completed a vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at UC Irvine. 

Before long, he became board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
