About

I believe in a patient-first approach. During every visit, I try to spend time with patients to understand their primary concerns and make sure all of these are addressed. I have spent the last 20+ years working as a physician assistant in urgent care and orthopedics.

For the first 10 years I worked in Vancouver, Washington, focusing on total joints and sports medicine, while also working at local free clinics weekly covering primary care and urgent care concerns.

I spent about 1 and a half years in Scotland working as a physician assistant, while serving as an ambassador for the physician assistant profession in the United Kingdom, working in both emergency medicine and orthopedics.

Upon returning to Chicago, I worked in orthopedic surgery and urgent care medicine in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Since Moving to Colorado Springs 4 years ago, I have worked for Colorado Springs Orthopedic Group focusing on total joints and sports medicine. For the last 1.5 years I have been the lead provider for Orthopedic Express Care focusing on acute care for orthopedic and all musculoskeletal conditions.

I have provided medical coverage for local college, high school and youth athletics and multiple local marathon races. I am also a member of the United States Olympic Sports Medicine team and have traveled to international competitions with multiple sports. Have published multiple articles in peer reviewed journals. A Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with physicians. They examine patients, prescribe medicine, and order diagnostic tests. In most cases, they work under the supervision of physicians or surgeons, but they can work more independently in some states, rural areas, and inner-city areas, consulting with physicians only when they need help with cases.
