Growing up in Brazil, Dr. Garces attended dental school there, completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with high honors in 2000. After a couple of years working as a dentist, she and her family relocated to south Florida where she continued her education by pursuing two years of residency program at The University of Florida College of Dentistry.
With an ongoing commitment to continuing education, she invests countless hours in learning the latest techniques and technologies in dentistry. Part of her time is dedicated to teaching at the University of Florida’s Miami campus in the dental residency program.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), Dr. Garces is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association.
