What exercise is good for ankle pain?
Well, if you are having ankle pain, you should not be performing exercises. I recommend the traditional RICE therapy. Rest, ice, compression, and elevation. In addition I would recommend immobilization with a brace and a radiograph to rule out a fracture. READ MORE
I have a mole on my feet?
So, typically when I look at a pigmented lesion, I perform the abcde’s of pigmented lesions. Is the lesion asymmetrical, are the borders irregular, are the colors irregular/changing or non uniform, is the diameter greater than 6mm, and is the lesion evolving or elevated. But, due to having the lesion on your heel for over 3 months, I would recommend a punch biopsy to be safe. READ MORE

His primary location is in Springfield, but he also serves the greater Dayton area (including Miami Valley Hospital).
What he brings to Community Foot Specialists is a synergistic approach to medicine which he honed through his residency, volunteer work, and academic career. His continual pursuit of knowledge and growth in practical skills has enabled him to become an articulate, well-versed advocate and practitioner in the field of podiatric medicine and surgery. He presents an enthusiastic, customer service attitude while contributing a well-rounded perspective to podiatric medicine and surgery.
Academically, Dr. Oliva graduated from Occidental College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Kinesiology. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, after which he pursued his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery within the Department of Podiatry at Dayton VA Medical Center.
Following his training, he attained board certification through the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, which exists to offer podiatric physicians a comprehensive board qualification and certification process.
