3041 Ensley 5 Points West Ave. Birmingham AL, 35208About
Welcome to my profile! I'm honored to share a bit about myself and the passion that drives my work in healthcare. With a heart for service and a commitment to excellence, I've been recognized as "Woman of the Year" by the Lily Grove Community Development Corporation in 2008 and proudly received the National Nursing Award in 2002. My dedication to patient care was also acknowledged when I was named Outstanding Charge Nurse at Baptist Medical Center Princeton.
My involvement extends beyond individual care as I actively contribute to medical literature, co-authoring an influential paper on the positive impacts of interprofessional clinical rounding on patient care outcomes. Furthermore, I am deeply invested in community service, coordinating local tutorial services and leading as Sunday School Superintendent at Lily Grove Missionary Baptist Church since 1999.
Research is another area where I strive to make a difference, having led important studies on diabetes management and chronic kidney disease. As a grant reviewer for Medicare and Medicaid Services and a skilled grant writer, I am committed to advancing healthcare initiatives that benefit our community.
In every aspect of my work, from clinical practice to research and community involvement, my goal is to improve lives through compassionate care, education, and advocacy for healthier lifestyles. Thank you for considering me as your healthcare partner on your journey to wellness.
