Specializing in interventional pain management, he treats various conditions such as lumbar and thoracic back pain, cervical (neck) pain, spinal stenosis, sciatica (lumbar radiculopathy), herniated discs (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), sports injury pain, work-related injury, post-herpetic neuralgia (shingles), as well as knee, shoulder & hip osteoarthritis, among others.
After earning his medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Puerto Rico in 2009, Dr. Baez-Cabrera relocated to the United States. There, he completed his fellowship training in sports medicine and interventional pain management.
With over a decade of experience in his field, the doctor is board-certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). The mission of the ABPMR is to serve the public by improving the quality of patient care in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
