Being a fellowship-trained gynecologic oncologist, Dr. Palileo provides consultation and comprehensive management of patients with gynecologic cancer, including those diagnostic and therapeutic procedures necessary for the total care of the patient with gynecologic cancer and resulting complications. At present, he serves as an attending physician at Maimonides Medical Center.

Recognized for clinical excellence and exceptional patient care, Maimonides Medical Center is a non-profit, non-sectarian hospital located in Brooklyn, New York City, New York. It is both a treatment facility and an academic medical center with 711 beds, and more than 70 primary care and subspecialty programs. After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in 2011, Dr. Palileo went on to complete his residency and fellowship in gynecologic oncology at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center.

Before long, he earned board certification in obstetrics and gynecology & gynecologic oncology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

Utilizing minimally invasive robotics surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and laser/LEEP procedures, some of the conditions that Dr. Palileo treats include: cervical cancer, gynecologic cancer, gynecologic tumors, gynecological problems, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, and vaginal cancer.
