Get to know Otolaryngologist Dr. Jacquelyn Brewer, who serves patients in Stamford, Connecticut. 

Dr. Brewer is a board-certified otolaryngologist who is experienced, understanding, and supportive. She treats both pediatric and adult patients at Ear, Nose & Throat Center, LLP in Stamford, Connecticut. 

Ear, Nose & Throat Center, LLP is dedicated to providing state of the art, comprehensive, and compassionate care for disorders involving the head and neck. The 4 physicians working there, including Dr. Brewer, and one physician assistant, provide excellence in the management of ear, nose, and throat disorders including sleep disorders, sinusitis, allergies, head and neck cancers, thyroid disorders, ear infections, hearing and balance issues, tonsillitis, and hoarseness. 

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the doctor is board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology, a non-profit corporation that has set the mission of ensuring professional standards with certificates and memberships, and has offered training in the fields of head neck surgery to professionals since 1924.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Brewer obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry/Medical Physics from the University of Denver in 2002. She then went on to complete her Master of Public Health degree and her medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, simultaneously receiving her degrees in 2006. This was followed by an internship in the Department of General Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 2007, and a residency in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the same educational venue in 2011. 

Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Otolaryngologists, also known as ear, nose, and throat doctors, specialize in disorders of the head and neck, ranging from hearing loss to cancer.
