Get to know Certified Physician Assistant Dr. Caitlin Garrison, who serves patients in Huntington Beach, California.

A certified physician assistant, Dr. Garrison is an Acne, Aesthetics, and Skin Care Specialist at Dr. Garrison Skin and Wellness in Huntington Beach, California. She has a passion for helping people achieve radiant skin. 

An expert in skin health, anti-aging, and skin rejuvenation techniques to accommodate all skin types, some of the conditions that she treats include acne vulgaris, obesity, unwanted moles, warts, skin tags, wrinkles, and aging skin. Likewise, some of the medical and cosmetic procedures that she performs include surgical biopsy, derm-tech non-surgical melanoma screening, Botox, dermal fillers, and laser hair removal.

Providing excellent care in dermatology and aesthetic injectables, Dr. Garrison has medical privileges at Adult Pediatric Urgent Care and Exer More Than Urgent Care.

In the past, she has been affiliated with Cosmed Dermatology, Beauty Lounge, Aegis Treatment Centers, Bakersfield Family Medical Center, Clinica Sierra Vista, Kern Medical Center-Emergency Department, and Advanced Laser Clinics of Chico.

Academically, Dr. Garrison earned her Physician Assistant Certification from Stanford Medical in 2011. She earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2015 from the AT Still University of Health Sciences, earning the title of Advanced Physician Assistant. Finally, in 2021, she completed her Doctorate in Business Administration and Marketing from Northcentral University.

A Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with physicians. They examine patients, prescribe medicine, and order diagnostic tests. In most cases, they work under the supervision of physicians or surgeons, but they can work more independently in some states, rural areas, and inner-city areas, consulting with physicians only when they need help with cases.

On a more personal note, Dr. Garrison loves enjoying the California sunshine while doing activities like hiking, kayaking, and snowboarding.
