NHRMC Behavioral Health Hospital is a psychiatric crisis stabilization hospital offering inpatient psychiatric programs for adults with mental health disorders, older adults, and those with co-occurring substance abuse disorders located on the main campus at 17th Street. The hospital is staffed by a team of behavioral health professionals, including board-certified psychiatrists, physician assistants, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychiatric technicians, substance abuse counselors, screening counselors, clinical licensed social workers, and psychologists.

After earning his medical degree from the St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands in the Caribbean, Dr. Joshi relocated to the United States to further his training. His residency in psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry were completed simultaneously at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine.

A member of the American Psychiatric Society and the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, the doctor has most recently been caring for patients at inpatient psychiatric hospitals in Minnesota and Iowa, as well as providing outpatient neurology, urgent mental health, and telehealth services for both pediatric and adult patients, including veterans.
