Get to know Board Certified Family and Adult Nurse Practitioner, Craig Sorkin, who serves patients throughout the State of New Jersey.

Craig is a board certified family and adult nurse practitioner with over 15 years experience. He leverages his expertise at K Health, aiming to provide innovative and accessible healthcare solutions to patients. His focus is functional medicine and has grown in his expertise in non-narcotic pain control and epidural trigger points. 

“I joined K as I love everything about electronic medicine. From the ability to provide care to those otherwise unable to receive care to those who are just busy living their lives. It allows for me to interact with them on their timeline.”

Within the philosophy of DripNP, Craig is unwavering in his belief in the fundamental mission to deliver top-notch home care, encompassing hydration, chronic condition management, and acute care needs. Academically, Craig received his Undergraduate and Graduate degrees from William Paterson University and his Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from Drexel University’s College of Nursing and Health Professions. He has spent his career working in a variety of settings, including emergency departments and private medical practices in New York and New Jersey.

The last 6 years of his career have been dedicated to the field of digital medicine. He has created departments geared towards this specialized practice as well as written blogs and a book about the topic.

Possessing diverse certifications, Craig is a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New Jersey and holds the title of Advanced Practice Nurse across multiple states, including NJ, NY, PA, CT, MD, VA, FL, CO, and TN. His proficiency is further evidenced by certifications in ACLS/PALS/BLS, and he demonstrates the ability to instruct others in these areas.

Moreover, Craig is an ASHI first responder and bloodborne pathogens instructor, showcasing his dedication to safety and emergency care. He is also a licensed NREMT in New Jersey and has acquired telemedicine assessment techniques from TJU.

An Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) is a nurse with postgraduate education in nursing. APNs are prepared with advanced didactic and clinical education, knowledge, skills, and scope of practice in nursing. Those with C or BC following a title include Certified or Board-Certified.
