Dr. Kyriakakis strives as a chiropractor to provide evidence based patient centered care. He is dedicated to the better understanding of chronic pain and its non- pharmaceutical management. He hopes to be an active solution to the Opioid Epidemic plaguing this country.

 

Dr. Kyriakakis, received a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Manhattan College. There he was awarded 1st place for Biology Research at the Eastern Colleges Science Conference. He then graduated from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic with research distinction. He is a member of the Research Honors Society Sigma Xi. He continues to pursue research and continues to push forward the scientific foundation of medical and chiropractic care.

Dr. Kyriakakis is on the Paramus Board of Health and currently VP. He is a in the New Jerseyand New York Medical Reserve Corps. 

Dr. Kyriakakis was an editor and columnist at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic Spinal Column. As an avid writer, his articles include topics on; Exercise and Chronic Pain, E Pluribus Unum- Out of Many One, Opportunity Rings- Chiropractic Role in Chronic Pain, Public Health Concerns Pertaining to Syrian Refugees in Greece, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), and Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Lyme Disease, to name a few. Dr. Kyriakakis has had the privilege to serve our veterans in a rotation at the Veterans Association Healthcare System in West Haven CT. He is certified in Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR), Functional Soft Tissue (FST), and Functional Taping for Musculoskeletal Injuries (FTMI). He was certified in Cox Technique in 2018 for the lumbar spine. These techniques have been successfully used alongside chiropractic protocols. The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) recognized Dr. Kyriakakis with a Diploma in Football Medicine.
