About

Hello, I'm Dr. Crystal Hopkins, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC. With over 17 years of nurse practitioner experience, I'm committed to providing top-notch psychiatric and mental health care. My journey as a nurse practitioner has taken me through various educational milestones, including a Doctor of Nursing Practice from The University of Alabama.

I specialize in both Family and Psychiatric Mental Health, offering comprehensive care tailored to each individual’s needs. My career has seen me take on diverse roles—from nurse practitioner positions at reputable medical centers to my current role as a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Better Mental Health, LLC. I've also had the honor of teaching future nurse practitioners at several universities.

In addition to my clinical practice, I actively contribute to my community through leadership roles and conference presentations. Recognized for my commitment to excellence, I've received awards such as the NPAA Award for Outstanding Nurse Practitioner.

I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered on your journey to better health. Whether you're dealing with mental health challenges or seeking general family health care, I'm here to help you every step of the way. Feel free to reach out—I'm just a phone call or email away.
