An established geneticist, Dr. Becker-Musante serves the community of Waterford at her private practice, Family Wellness Centre of Connecticut. She believes in healing through genetics and specialties in treatment of conditions such as asthma, autism, allergies, and eczema, as well as fertility. She integrates both a conventional background with homeopathic, naturopathic, herbal, and dietary treatments.

The Family Wellness Centre of Connecticut was created by Drs. Frank Musante and Kendra Becker, who envisioned a setting that would bring together chiropractic, holistic and conventional medicine. At the Centre, disciplines of chiropractic and integrative medicine are combined, to elicit the best possible therapeutic outcomes for their patients. Their mission is to serve families, helping them to maximize their current health status and to keep them that way for a lifetime.

Academically, Dr. Becker-Musante has integrated a Doctor of Naturopathy degree and an Advanced Practice Nursing degree to provide the best possible care to her patients. She understands the importance of integrating conventional and holistic medicine and the importance of combining therapies appropriately.

Prior to becoming a physician, she spent 10 years practicing as an ICU nurse for both adults and children, specializing in cardiac surgery and cardiac anomalies, before studying naturopathic medicine.

Among her other roles, Dr. Becker-Musante lectures on various topics throughout the nation, has made various TV appearances to discuss the importance of naturopathic medicine, and is a member of various organizations. She also hosts a weekly television program called “The Holistic Health Hour”, and published her first book called “A Delicious Way to Heal the Gut”.

The practice of naturopathic medicine includes modern and traditional, scientific, and empirical methods. Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care profession, emphasizing prevention, treatment, and optimal health through the use of therapeutic methods and substances that encourage individuals’ inherent self-healing process. Naturopathic physicians manage and seek to prevent acute and chronic illnesses to restore and establish optimal health.

On a more personal note, she is the mother of two healthy children, a dog, and 12 chickens.
