Academically, Dr. Choi graduated summa cum laude with her Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of East-West Medicine. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree (DAOM) and her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Oriental Medicine from Five Branches University.
Licensed to practice acupuncture in California, the doctor is a board-certified herbalist and a Diplomate of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), which is a non-profit organization in the United States that aims to establish, assess, and promote recognized standards of competence and safety in acupuncture and Oriental medicine for the protection and benefit of the public.
