Get to know Acupuncturist Dr. Regan Choi, who serves patients throughout the State of California.

Dr. Choi is a second generation acupuncturist practicing at AcuBay Clinic in Campbell and Morgan, California. She evaluates and treats patients based on the concepts of oriental medicine. She specializes in pediatrics, helping children with ADHD, autism, learning difficulties, attention disorder, and other common health that Western Medicine does not adequately address. She is passionate about offering acupuncture to juvenile patients and loves working directly with children and youth. In addition to traditional acupuncture treatments, she is highly trained in non-needle therapies and other non-invasive techniques best suited for pediatric patients.

Academically, Dr. Choi graduated summa cum laude with her Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of East-West Medicine. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree (DAOM) and her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Oriental Medicine from Five Branches University. 

Licensed to practice acupuncture in California, the doctor is a board-certified herbalist and a Diplomate of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), which is a non-profit organization in the United States that aims to establish, assess, and promote recognized standards of competence and safety in acupuncture and Oriental medicine for the protection and benefit of the public.

Acupuncture is a form of holistic medicine and a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a technique in which thin needles are inserted into the body and in some cases, electro-stimulation is applied to gently stimulate particular regions of the body. Acupuncture is also used to maintain general health and well-being. Acupuncturists treat a variety of health concerns including women’s health & fertility, autoimmune disorders, digestive disorders, joint & muscle pain, insomnia, and emotional concerns such as stress management, anxiety & depression.
