She then went on to complete her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the San Antonio University School of Medicine in 2016, followed by a fellowship in pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine in 2018.

Licensed to practice medicine in Texas, the doctor is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation & pediatric rehabilitation medicine by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). The mission of the ABPMR is to serve the public by improving the quality of patient care in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
