Dr. Ferguson is a dual board certified vascular surgeon and endovascular specialist. He is in practice with Vascular Associates of South Alabama, LLC, proudly serving Mobile, Alabama and surrounding areas.

Treating all of his patients how he would want his own family treated, Dr. Ferguson is skilled in advanced, minimally invasive, endovascular techniques as well as traditional open surgery for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD), limb salvage, aortic aneurysmal and occlusive disease, carotid disease, varicose veins, lower extremity swelling and deep vein thrombosis, and pulmonary emboli. 

Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Ferguson received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the  University of Pikeville - Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. He then completed his surgical residency at The University of South Alabama Medical Center in 2014 followed by his fellowship in vascular surgery at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi in 2016.

Board certified in both vascular surgery and general surgery, Dr. Ferguson is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). The AOBS is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the use of surgery to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Professionally, Dr. Ferguson is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), and holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

In addition, he is an engaged member of the Outpatient Endovascular Interventional Society, the Medical Society of Mobile County, the Society of Vascular Surgery, the Southern Association of Vascular Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons, Alabama Chapter.
