Get to know Physician Assistant Todd Kielman, who serves patients in Texas.

Todd is a certified physician assistant with over 20 years of experience in orthopedics, primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, trauma management, and men’s health. 

At Regenerative & Sports Medicine with offices in Texas, he works closely with Dr. Rand McClain to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. He is happy to provide his expertise to help patients find relief from pain, limited mobility, and other health issues that prevent them from living their life to the fullest. 

The Regenerative & Sports Medicine team has extensive experience diagnosing and treating men’s and women’s health conditions, including low testosterone and menopause symptoms. They perform comprehensive hormone testing to determine whether patients have any imbalances, then resolve them using treatments like testosterone injections, creams, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). 

In addition to their expertise in hormone therapy, they offer ketamine therapy for patients with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). At the practice, they also specialize in sports injury recovery, helping athletes of all abilities return to an active life. 

Pertaining to his educational background, Todd earned both his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Science degrees in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Nebraska Medical Center–Lincoln. 

After proudly serving his country for over 25 years in the United States Army, including four tours in combat, he completed his Doctorate in Medical Science with a specialty in Men’s Health and Sexual Medicine at A.T. Still University A.T. Still University of Health Sciences

During his service, Todd was awarded numerous prestigious awards such as the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal with “V” for Valor under fire, the Army Achievement Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Afghan Campaign Medal, and the NATO Medal. 

Throughout his career in healthcare, Todd has worked in a variety of roles, including serving as a sexual medicine and hormone specialist. He is skilled in treating hormone imbalance, erectile dysfunction, overactive bladder, hypogonadism, and weight management issues. 

While he enjoys helping patients enhance their health and wellness with therapies like HRT, he can also address chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. 

In affiliation with multiple organizations, Todd is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, the American Urological Association, the International Society of Sexual Medicine, and the American Society of Andrology.

Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors for PAs for Tomorrow and San Antonio Lifetime Recovery.

A Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with physicians.  PAs are medical professionals, educated in the medical model to complement physician training, and assist the physician in many aspects of the practice. PAs are trained to take medical histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnose illness, develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and assist in surgery.
