Pankaj Khullar, MD, FACC, FSCAI, RPVI is a board certified interventional cardiologist
with advanced training in vascular medicine and vascular interventional procedures
including treatment of peripheral arterial disease including complex balloon angioplasty
and stenting, aortic aneurysm disease, catheter based DVT/PE treatment, and venous
interventions who joined Sorin Medical P.C. in 2017 and currently serves as its Medical Director.
In 2007, Dr. Khullar graduated Summa Cum Laude from CUNY City College of New York -
Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education. He then went on to attend medical school at
SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. Dr. Khullar graduated Cum Laude from SUNY
Downstate in 2009. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Khullar subsquently completed a
residency in internal medicine, in addition to fellowships in cardiovascular
disease, interventional cardiology, and vascular medicine and endovascular interventions
at the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Montefiore Medical Center, located
in the Bronx.
Today, Dr. Khullar serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia
University and the director of Vascular Medicine at Mt. Sinai Morningside. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board
of Internal Medicine, who is boardcertified in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease. As a respected
member ofthe medical community, he has presented on and co-authored several publications related
to heart failure and peripheral arterial disease.
Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Khullar enjoys traveling, reading for leisure, and playing
recreational sports like tennis, basketball, baseball, and golf. To better serve New York
City's diverse patient population, Dr. Khullar speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Spanish.
