Dr. Frenchu is a PGY 2 resident in internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. She is also pursuing a fellowship in cardiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In the doctor’s current capacity, she is an entrepreneur, serving as Co-owner of Speckled Hen Farms in Stockton, New Jersey. There, in addition to serving as Student Government Social Chair, Administrator for Literature & Medicine courses, and a member of the Promise Clinic Committee Chair for Quality Improvement Team, she served as a global health volunteer, traveling to a remote region in the Himalayas.
From 2010 until 2012, she served as a research intern at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. From August 2011 until 2013, she served as a residential adviser/student assistant at Cornell University, where she also served as a research assistant from January 2012 until 2013. For a period of four months, from June 2014 until September 2014, she served as a summer intern of cardiothoracic surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Following this, she served as a research assistant within the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery of The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital from January 2015 until February 2016. She also served as a research assistant within the Department of Neurosurgery of the aforementioned venue from January 2015 until September 2016.
To advance her professional efforts, Dr. Frenchu remains a member of the American College of Cardiology, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and the Society of General Internal Medicine.
