Dr. Frenchu is a PGY 2 resident in internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. She is also pursuing a fellowship in cardiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

In the doctor’s current capacity, she is an entrepreneur, serving as Co-owner of Speckled Hen Farms in Stockton, New Jersey. For more than 10 years, she has sold products to local restaurants and farmers’ markets in the summer. Products include fruits and award-winning jams and preserves, taking 1st place in the county fair in more than 10 categories from 2010 until 2016.

After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Society with a concentration on business at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York in 2013, Dr. Frenchu went on to obtain her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2017. There, in addition to serving as Student Government Social Chair, Administrator for Literature & Medicine courses, and a member of the Promise Clinic Committee Chair for Quality Improvement Team, she served as a global health volunteer, traveling to a remote region in the Himalayas.

From 2010 until 2012, she served as a research intern at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. From August 2011 until 2013, she served as a residential adviser/student assistant at Cornell University, where she also served as a research assistant from January 2012 until 2013. For a period of four months, from June 2014 until September 2014, she served as a summer intern of cardiothoracic surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Following this, she served as a research assistant within the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery of The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital from January 2015 until February 2016. She also served as a research assistant within the Department of Neurosurgery of the aforementioned venue from January 2015 until September 2016. 

To advance her professional efforts, Dr. Frenchu remains a member of the American College of Cardiology, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and the Society of General Internal Medicine.
