Dr. Nelson provides  her clients with a safe and supportive environment to explore what has brought them to therapy, while also providing feedback and tools along the way. You will work collaboratively with Dr. Nelson and the Glacier team to identify your specific goals and track your progress throughout treatment. 

Dr. Nelson recieved her doctorate from California Lutheran University where she began her clinical training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT). She continues to use these approaches in her work with clients. She went on to get trainied in EMDR, which she utilizes in the treatment of trauma. Glacier Psychology Services is staffed with therapists who have diverse training experiences and backgrounds, allowing them to treat a diverse population with varying needs. Glacier's model is collaborative throughout. Clients will work closely with their therapists to establish goals and the therapsits will all work together to idenitfy best treatment protocols for each client.
