Ena Osterhouse, a seasoned Physician Assistant with over 24 years of experience in the medical field, is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care at Proper Eu Medical and Aesthetics Center in Caledonia, Michigan, a practice she founded in 2022. With a foundation built on evidence-based medicine and a heart for ongoing education, she continues to empower both herself and aspiring healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care.

Throughout her academic career, she received a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Western Michigan University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Nursing and Biology from Hope College. This educational foundation, coupled with her extensive clinical experience, enables her to offer informed, compassionate, and innovative care to her patients.

In her clinical role, Ena combines her extensive surgical expertise with a passion for aesthetics, providing unisex services that help individuals look and feel their best. "I believe that beauty is not just skin deep; it is about feeling confident and healthy from the inside out," she explains. Her approach to medicine is characterized by a carefree and playful demeanor, ensuring that patients feel comfortable and understood throughout their treatment journey.

Her journey in medicine began as a Registered Nurse, where she honed her skills in patient care. After the birth of her three children, she felt a calling to expand her medical knowledge further, leading her to pursue a Master of Science in Medicine and become a Physician Assistant/Associate (PA-C). She has specialized in Cardiothoracic Surgery where she has treated patients dealing with heart disease, thoracic cancers, and those undergoing heart and lung transplants. She is still practicing, currently at Ascension Borgess Hospital.

At Proper Eu, Ena remains committed to fostering a supportive environment for both her patients and staff. She emphasizes the importance of continuing education and mentorship, believing that a well-informed provider can significantly enhance patient outcomes.
