A native of Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Timm graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University in 2005. She then went on to perform a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria from 2005 until 2009.
A member of the American Osteopathic Association, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.
Furthermore, she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The ABP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Medicine who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases in infants, children, and adolescents.
