Born and raised in India, Dr. Choudhary obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from the Lady Hardinge Medical College. After graduating, she moved to Houston, Texas, with her husband and completed her residency in family medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine. Upon graduation from Baylor, she took care of the medically underserved population of Harris County. This experience has made her comfortable with treating patients with multiple medical and social issues.

An active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Happily married, Dr. Choudhary and her husband have two young children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching movies, dining out, and going to the park with her kids. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu.
