    Meloxicam is an anti inflammatory medication, just like ibuprofen. You should not need another anti inflammatory medication while you are on meloxicam. If you are still experiencing pain at the 5 hour mark, you should take Tylenol, which is a pain killer, not an anti inflammatory medication. You can take 7.5mg of meloxicam every 12 hours, or twice per day. Tylenol can be taken in between those times to help bridge pain gap. READ MORE
