Teaching and speaking

  • I am an avid advocate for breaking down misperceptions related to mental health, child development and behavior, and interventions. I greatly enjoy opportunities to provide public training and opportunities to facilitate conversations about mental heath, interventions, school services/supports, and building collaborate communities. I have previously provided training to summer camp programs for how to respond to a child outcry of abuse or suicidal thoughts, and assist the program in understanding appropriate steps. I am also provided public talks related to breaking stigma of mental health, developing organizational and collaborate strategies as a family, and steps to collaborating with school and other treating professionals.
