Dr. Dinh, a dedicated psychiatrist based in the Tampa Bay area since 1991, is the President and CEO of Beacon Psychiatry. Having resided in Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties, she possesses an intimate understanding of the region and its diverse population.

In her psychiatric practice, she approaches patient care with a blend of expertise, empathy, and compassion. Her academic prowess was duly recognized with the prestigious King O’Neal Scholar Award, a testament to her scholarly achievements.

Continuing her academic journey at the USF Morsani College of Medicine, she showcased her dedication to research and scholarship. Her contributions include multiple research publications, abstracts, and posters, particularly focusing on schizophrenia during her clinical research tenure at the Byrd Alzheimer’s Institute. Her academic accolades continued throughout medical school, where she received recognition for Clinical Excellence in the Neuropsychiatry Clerkship and was awarded Outstanding Student in Psychiatry.

Subsequently, her commitment to education and excellence extended into her residency at USF Health, where she received the Outstanding Teaching by a Resident award for her exemplary dedication to teaching and mentorship.

However, Dr. Dinh’s passion for psychiatry goes beyond academic achievement; it stems from personal experience and empathy. She understands firsthand the challenges faced by individuals living with mental illness, having witnessed the struggles of multiple family members dealing with conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
