A triple board certified pulmonologist and critical care specialist, Dr. Woodford’s area of expertise lies in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of lung-related issues, as well as sleep apnea.

With a valid medical license in the state of Maryland, he is closely affiliated with two distinguished medical institutions, namely Adventist HealthCare Fort Washington Medical Center and Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center. These affiliations underscore his commitment to delivering top-tier medical care and his dedication to the health and well-being of his patients in the region.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Woodford graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2008. He then went on to perform his residency at the University of Louisville Hospital in 2014, followed by his pulmonary / critical care medicine fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2017.

As a testament of his continued education, Dr. Woodford is board certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
