As for his academic appointments, he is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine.

After completing his medical school training at Texas A&M Health Science Center, Dr. Rezaie went on to pursue a combined residency in emergency medicine/internal medicine at East Carolina University.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP), the doctor is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM certifies emergency physicians who meet its educational, professional, and examination standards.

He is the Founder and Creator of REBEL EM and REBEL Cast, which are free, critical appraisal blog and podcast resources that aim to bridge the gap between research and clinical practice.

Alongside his work with REBEL EM and REBEL Cast, he is a Co-Creator and Co-Founder of The Teaching Institute, which aims to provide high-quality medical education resources to healthcare professionals. Through his work with The Teaching Institute, he has helped to advance the field of emergency medicine by providing valuable educational resources to medical professionals worldwide.
