Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Meredith Vandegrift, who serves patients in Huntington, New York.

Dr. Vandegrift is a female board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Long Island, New York who specializes in breast and body rejuvenation that restores a youthful, supple appearance after pregnancy or weight loss.

At Vandegrift Plastic Surgery, she offers a full complement of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, including breast lift, breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, vaginal rejuvenation, and oncoplastic breast reduction. In addition to her surgical skills, Dr. Vandegrift has a special interest and expertise in both surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation, including Botox® and dermal fillers.

Her extensive training includes graduating from SUNY Albany magna cum laude, then attending Stony Brook University School of Medicine. From there, she went on to complete a general surgery residency at NYU Langone Medical Center and a research fellowship at the renowned Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, also at NYU. Finally, she pursued her plastic surgery training with some of the nation’s preeminent leaders in cosmetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery at Emory University in Atlanta.

Board certified in plastic surgery, Dr. Vandegrift holds the distinction of being a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.

On a professional level, Dr. Vandegrift is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons (Fellow), and the American Medical Association.
