Get to know Periodontist Dr. Viviana Brignoni, who serves patients in Chester, New Jersey. 

A skilful periodontist, Dr. Brignoni can handle everything from dental implant placement to gum disease treatment. She is the Owner & Operator of Beyond Periodontics, LLC in Chester, New Jersey.

As a doctor, she recognizes that her patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in her and her team. That is just one reason why she values each and every patient relationship.

Restoring smiles and renewing confidence, some of the dental services that she provides include, but are not limited to: periodontics, dental implants, exams & cleanings, laser dentistry, sinus lifts, bone grafts, gum grafts, pocket reduction surgery, extractions, crown lengthening, and oral cancer screenings. 

Graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, Dr. Brignoni went on to further her studies. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine, after which she completed her postgraduate degree in periodontics at Rutgers University – Newark.

Before opening her private practice in October of 2021, she worked as a general dentist at Caring Dental Associates (March 2016 – October 2021), and as a dentist at Sam’s Family Dental Care, PC (September 2014 – May 2016).

Skill and compassion go hand in hand when providing exceptional patient care. As a dental professional, Dr. Brignoni stays up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for her patients. She is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association.

Periodontology or periodontics is the specialty of dentistry that studies supporting structures of teeth, as well as diseases and conditions that affect them. The supporting tissues are known as the periodontium, which includes the gingiva, alveolar bone, cementum, and the periodontal ligament. A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease (a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the gums and bone supporting the teeth also known as gum disease), and in the placement of dental implants.
