During his tenure, he established the peripheral nerve institute and played a crucial role in the reimplantation hand trauma team. Concurrently, he served as an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics.
Throughout his academic journey, he has contributed significantly to the medical field. He has published numerous scientific articles and book chapters, sharing his expertise and advancements in orthopedic surgery. Additionally, he has trained and mentored numerous orthopedic residents and hand surgery fellows, nurturing the next generation of medical professionals.
