Get to know Internist Dr. Gregor Paronian, who serves patients in Pasadena, California.

An experienced internist, Dr. Paronian works with patients at Southern California Internists Medical Group, which is affiliated with Optum Care.

With a broad educational background, he earned his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University in 2007. He then completed his internship and residency through the USC Keck School of Medicine at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena in 2008 and 2011, respectively. 

As a testament to his success, he is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and basketball, sailing, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to English, he is fluent in Spanish and Armenian.
