Alongside her clinical role, she serves as an Instructor at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

With a broad educational background, Dr. Plaud graduated with her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1997. She then went on to perform her internship in pediatrics at the same educational venue in 1998, followed by her residency in pediatrics at Stanford University Medical Center in 2000.

Dedicated to excellence, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
