Committed to helping people focus on their hearts, Dr. Dube is a fellowship-trained cardiologist whose passion for sharing her knowledge with patients, along with her warm manner, make her an effective ambassador for heart health. She is the Director of Cardiology at JenCare Senior Medical Center, seeing patients at the offices in Shockoe Bottom, Richmond; Hull Street, Richmond; Mechanicsville, Richmond; and Colonial Heights in Virginia.
JenCare Senior Medical Center is a family-owned primary and specialty care practice committed to delivering superior healthcare to Medicare-eligible seniors. As of 2018, the Center has 26 locations in Virginia, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky and Louisiana, with plans for additional expansion.
Following the completion of her medical degree from the Grant Government Medical College in Mumbai, India in 2003, Dr. Dube relocated to the United States to further her education. She performed her residency in internal medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University in New York. As a teaching resident at that hospital, she received a treasured teaching skills award from her students. Before joining JenCare, she was carrying out a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), she is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Society of Hospital Medicine, the American Medical Association, the Southern Society of Clinical Investigation, and the Maharashtra Medical Council.
Passionate about heart health, Dr. Dube is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as the circulatory system.
