Dr. C. Barry Craythorne is a fellowship trained Orthopedic Sports Medicine surgeon in Tampa, FL. As a Sports Medicine specialist, Dr. Craythorne is trained to assess, diagnose, prevent, and treat sports injuries in patients of all ages. Dr. Craythorne has received Subspecialty Certification in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery. He has served as Team Physician for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since 2015, the Tampa Bay Rays since 2001, and has provided Orthopedic coverage of the Outback Bowl since 1995. He has served as Team Physician in the past for Cincinnati Reds (baseball), Tampa Bay Mutiny (soccer), and as Consultant to NFL Europe. Areas of interest include ACL tears, knee and shoulder injuries, as well as adult knee and hip reconstruction and fracture care.
