Passionate about dentistry, Dr. Woolwine III is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to his patients at Sonterra Dental Center for Cosmetic & Comprehensive Dentistry in San Antonio, Texas. Constantly training around the country to become the best he can be, the part he most enjoys about his profession is building lifelong relationships with his patients and helping them gain the confidence that comes from a healthy and beautiful smile.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Woolwine III received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 2011 before completing a residency at the well-known WhiteCap Institute. He was then invited to extend his time at WhiteCap Institute, where he taught courses in dental implants, tissue grafting, bone grafting, occlusion, as well as became certified in IV sedation. During these years, he also traveled throughout the country providing training and mentorship to other dentists for implant surgeries.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

On a more personal note, Dr. Woolwine III and his wife, Kristy, enjoy raising their two children. They enjoy spending their free time outdoors and traveling.
