Dr. Rivero is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (FICD). The ICD is the world’s oldest and largest honor society for dentists. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only. Dr. Rivero received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she was a twice recipient of the Tufts Grant – a scholarship for the highest achieving students. While at Tufts, she was a dental student representative to the Tufts Presidential Search Committee.

Dr. Rivero attended the world-renowned Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where she completed postgraduate training in occlusion and cosmetic dentistry. She also participated in a mini-residency program in prosthetic dentistry with a concentration on smile design.

Dr. Rivero volunteers for the Child Identification Program (CHIPS), making dental imprints to aid in the identification and recovery of missing children. She has also volunteered with the Mobile Access to Care (MAC) Van – a program of the Massachusetts Dental Society that provides access to Massachusetts’ underserved children.

Dr. Rivero is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of General Dentistry, and the Metropolitan District Dental Society (past chairperson, 1997)

Dr. Rivero is a certified Invisalign® provider. Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces.
