Carlos is a pharmacist who is currently serving patients in Naranjito, Puerto Rico. Carlos is a member of the American Pharmacists Association (APA). The APA, founded in 1852, is the first-established professional society of pharmacists in the United States. The association consists of more than 62,000 practicing pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, student pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and others interested in the profession. 

Pharmacy is the science and technique of preparing, dispensing, and reviewing drugs and providing additional clinical services. It is a health profession that links the health sciences with pharmaceutical sciences and aims to ensure the safe, effective, and affordable use of drugs. Pharmacists, also known as chemists or druggists, are health professionals who practice in pharmacy.
