6517 Belleview Drive Columbia MD, 21046About
Brianna is licensed to practice Acupuncture in the state of Maryland and is Clean Needle Technique Certified. She is also an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist, trained in the NADA protocol to work with Substance Use Disorders. She has spent a significant portion of her clinical internship working with patients in addiction centers in Maryland.
Brianna practices two styles of Acupuncture: Classical Five Element and Traditional Chinese Medicine. While Traditional Chinese Medicine is more Westernized in its approach to treating patterns of disharmony, Classical Five Element Acupuncture aims to treat the whole person constitutionally and holistically with a Body-Mind-Spirit approach. Both of these styles of Acupuncture address pain and disease by restoring the normal flow of energy (known as qi/“chee”) in the body and aim to treat the root problem.
Her areas of specialty include: Addiction, Anxiety, Arthritis, Back Pain, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Chronic Pain, Depression, Digestive Disorders, Headaches, Infertility, Insomnia, PTSD, Stress, Weight Management, and Women’s Health. Brianna also specializes in Eight Extraordinary treatments, aimed at treating psycho-emotional pain and habituated patterns of behavior, as well as difficult to treat conditions and chronic disease.
