Get to know Dentist Dr. Jouya Barati, who serves patients in West Vancouver, British Columbia. 

Dr. Barati has been practicing general dentistry since 2009. She is passionate about her profession and well regarded by her patients for her thoroughness and her ability to make them feel calm and comfortable. 

She enjoys every aspect of dentistry, from restorative dentistry and root canal treatment to pediatric dentistry and surgery. At West Van Dental Group, she strives to provide her patients with the highest level of dental care. She helps them achieve beautiful smiles with cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign. She also loves meeting new patients and building long-term relationships with them by treating them like family.

Her dental practice philosophy is to provide her patients with the highest quality treatment while she creates an environment of trust and mutual respect. Patients’ best interests are always a top priority for her because patient care and quality dentistry is her passion.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Barati earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Islamic Azad University in Tehran, Iran. She also holds a certification in BOTOX.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

Dedicated to the newest advancements in dentistry, Dr. Barati keeps up-to-date with the latest technologies. She also remains a member of several professional organizations, including the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia and the British Columbia Dental Association.

In her personal life, she is happily married with a daughter.
