Get to know Family Physician Dr. Nada Hana Bachuri, who serves patients in Troy, Michigan.

Dr. Bachuri is a board-certified family physician who sees patients at Ascension Medical Group Troy Family Care in Michigan. She is also affiliated with Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital and Beaumont Hospital, Troy. 

With years of experience in her prospective field, she is a member of the American Medical Association, the Central Association of Advisors for the Health Professions, and the Obesity Medicine Association. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after she earned her medical degree from Baghdad University Medical School in 1991. She then relocated to the United States where she completed her residency in family medicine at Beaumont Hospital – Grosse Pointe in 2005. 

A firm believer that a successful community starts with a healthy family, Dr. Bachuri is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties. 

In addition, she is board-certified in obesity medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine, which serves the public and the field of obesity medicine by maintaining standards for the assessment and credentialing physicians.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.

Outside of the office, Dr. Bachuri enjoys listening to classical music and baking. She is married with two children. In addition to English, she speaks Arabic and Chaldean.
