Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Fatimah Ahmed, who serves patients in Denison, Texas.

Dr. Ahmed is a trusted pediatrician who cares for infants, children, and adolescents up to the age of 21. With a wide knowledge base, she is comfortable taking care of urgent care needs and providing routine well-child management. She strives to form a strong relationship with her patients and their families that will help her care for them in the best way possible. 

Helping children get the healthcare they need to grow into healthy, strong adults, she is in practice with TexomaCare-Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in Denison, Texas. 

The pediatricians of TexomaCare have dedicated their lives to taking special care of their youngest patients through every stage of development – from the first special moments of infancy to young adulthood. They specialize in the healthcare of children and young adults, and monitor the normal growth and development of children’s motor and intellectual skills. 

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after she earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City in 2015. She then went on to serve her residency at Baylor College of Medicine-Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. She also completed a combined residency program in pediatrics with Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center.

A member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Dr. Ahmed is board-certified through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The ABP exists to support and encourage the best possible health care for children by setting standards for medical training, assessing levels of competence, and encouraging pediatricians to stay up to date with medical knowledge and best practices.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. As a pediatrician, Dr. Ahmed provides medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. She is trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
