Get to know Dentist Dr. Trey Patterson, who serves patients in Cypress, Texas.

Dr. Patterson is a top rated dentist who founded Towne Lake Dentistry in Cypress, Texas in March of 2020, after he acquired the office from Active Life Dentistry. It was always his goal to own a practice but to acquire one that he worked at as an associate and with such an established and remarkable staff was truly a dream come true.

He and his team provide a full range of general and specialized services under one roof, including preventive, restorative, cosmetic, pediatric, and senior dental care. They believe that treating patients just like family is the key to improving lives and smiles.

Born and raised in Houston, Dr. Patterson attended Texas A&M University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. After college, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he was an active member of the American Student Dental Association and President of Xi Psi Phi Dental Fraternity.

After graduating Cum Laude, he continued to further his dental training by completing a post-doctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in San Antonio. His advanced training and private practice experience allows him to be proficient in many aspects of dentistry, with his number one goal to deliver high quality dentistry that meets each patient’s unique needs.  Dr. Patterson is also certified to administer dental sedation to patients who need assistance to relax in the dentist’s chair.

Ensuring the entire family receives the benefits of optimal oral health, he remains a member of several professional organizations. These include the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

On a more personal note, Dr. Patterson and his wife, Kathryn, are parishioners at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church and welcomed an adorable daughter in August of 2019. When Dr. Patterson is not practicing dentistry, he has a passion for saltwater fishing anywhere along the Texas coast, spending time with family and friends, and cheering passionately for his favorite sports team, the Aggies. He is a big fan of Texas country music and loves Mexican food.
